While we have mostly easy transits, there’s a lot of Earth in the sky this week. That means we will feel more slowness and a tendency towards inertia and letting our hair down.
However, Earth energy, especially as Jupiter stations and Venus goes direct in Leo, means we should be working on what we want to manifest. Sun trine Jupiter dominating for most of the week is one of the best energies for investing in long-term projects and efforts. Cancer Moon will pour in Cardinal energy to activate this trine additionally, but that’s a lot of Earth to move in one go.
Remember that, with Saturn retrograde, it is harder to find the discipline we need to get things done. We have to be our own inspiration and accountability. Mercury combust and Sun trine Jupiter should be stimulating, but it’s all Earth energy, and you may feel like plodding through mud anyway.
Don’t get lazy. Don’t be discouraged. Remember the vision you want to manifest.
Let’s take a look at the transits.
4/ Monday
6:28 Mercury trine Jupiter
8:38 Jupiter goes retrograde
5/ Tuesday
12:45 Moon goes void trine Pluto
16:06 Moon enters Gemini
6/ Wednesday
7:08 Mercury conjunct Sun
7/ Thursday
18:21 Moon goes void square Neptune
8/ Friday
0:59 Moon enters Cancer
7:12 Sun trine Jupiter
10/ Sunday
1:04 Venus conjunct Juno
8:47 Moon goes void opposite Pluto
12:35 Moon enters Leo
The week opens up with heavy Earth energy. Venus has just gone direct in Leo, with Moon exalted in Taurus and Jupiter going retrograde there Monday morning. Mercury trine Jupiter station add even more Earth to the mix, as Mercury is both retrograde in Virgo and dispositive of all these transits. The energy can be a little debilitating as Moon squares stationary Venus in the morning, but Moon will then reactivate the trine energy as she transits Jupiter in the afternoon.
Only Neptune and Saturn retrograde in Pisces are outside the Earth energy wave; even Pluto reporting to them is in an Earth sign.
It’s important to keep focused on priorities and deliberate about how we spend our time this day, as there won’t be any “push” in the skies. Mars is exiled in Libra and reporting to stationary Venus, so drive for action will be rather weak to nonexistent. However, you should meet little resistance as you take action mindfully – without rushing people. You have more options than you might assume, and people should be malleable like clay if suggested correctly.
Jupiter retrograde is a time when we get off the clouds and get more realistic – and hard-working – about our aspirations. The front end of the week is likely to feel overwhelming because we’re still working off and integrating Venus retrograde. Jupiter retrograde, in Taurus no less, piles on pragmatic energy and concerns by both placement and direction. We are challenged to integrate the learnings from Venus retrograde and our long-term goals with Jupiter in a practical way. Just get started from one end of the pile and keep working through it one thing at a time. It’s unlikely to get a sudden epiphany about big-picture, long-term goals with so much Earth in the sky, Uranus doubly debilitated and Mercury retrograde. We find clarity in deliberate action, one task at a time – then the next.
Don’t get discouraged. Get on with it. Soon you’ll see you can do it.
