Finally.
It’s the end of this horrific Venus year, in which she has been afflicted for a good 7 months, is at hand.
Venus completes her long slog in style: with a dramatic – and liberating – closing square to Saturn as she returns from her exile in Scorpio.
The wheels start turning before that with Jupiter station and a grand full-moon in Cancer. The energy is conflicted, with the potential for definitive closure on the past but also for overreaction and confusion and escape.
Let’s take a look at the aspects.

The week starts with easy and sleepy vibes as Venus trines Neptune. Even though she’s afflicted and we can’t enjoy the full intuitive bliss of this transit, we get a lot of positive and sociable vibes from the Gemini Moon and Sun trine Jupiter (exact on Wednesday). Moon then goes void in opposition to Mercury, essentially forming a T-square with dispositor Neptune on her way into Cancer.
Full-moon in Cancer on Tuesday evening is powerful, involved and conflicted. We can be overwhelmed with emotions, but not in an exuberant Jovian sense. Rather, we should be doing a lot of internal processing – experiencing and reexperiencing our own emotional world rather than expressing and venting it. This isn’t about repression but about the nature of this full-moon sextile Jupiter station in Taurus.
Moon and Jupiter are in each other’s exaltations. They want to understand each other and work in harmony. However, they are moving apart as Jupiter is still retrograde. For this reason, it won’t be straightforward to harmonize the emotional wounds and lessons activated by this full-moon and Jupiter’s advice about our material provision and nourishment. Mercury’s quintuple affliction during this time is also less than helpful for thinking through and connecting our emotional habits and responses on one hand and our material needs and aspirations on the other.
Think and say less. Listen to yourself and others.
